Irish Water are undertaking works to sewer to the rear of Athlone Castle along the Quay and as such the Castle carpark (Quays) will be closed with some traffic disruption for a period of 11 weeks; from May 23rd- August 12th.

The ESB are undertaking upgrade works between Barrack Street and the Quay, Athlone which may affect traffic in the area and Market Square carpark. Works should be complete within two weeks from May 23rd- June 3rd. 

Traffic and pedestrian management shall be in place.
