Safe Routes to Schools

This programme is an initiative of the Department of Transport and supported by the Department of Education.

The Safe Routes to School (SRTS) Programme aims to create new and safer walking, cycling and wheeling routes within communities, alleviating congestion at the school gates and increasing the number of students who walk or cycle to school.
