What is Healthy Reading?
The Westmeath Healthy Reading Scheme is a collection of recommended self-help books for
people experiencing difficulties coping with the stresses of daily life. These books can act as a first step in resolving your difficulties or assist you while working with your health care professional. These materials can also be helpful for family and friends.
It should be noted that reading any of these books is not a substitute for visiting your GP or other health care professional.
Leaflets providing details of books, websites and help-lines are available in your local library.
Remember “Books can help”.
Westmeath County Library acknowledges the support of our partners who have helped with information, advice and financial support for this project.
