Belvedere House Gardens & Park is located on the north-east shore of Lough Ennell, four miles from Mullingar in Co. Westmeath and just an hour from Dublin.
Belvedere House is an 18th century Hunting Lodge or Villa designed by the renowned German architect Richard Castle, for Robert Rochfort, later 1st Earl of Belvedere.
Belvedere House has been fully restored to its former glory, and is indeed an ‘architectural gem’.
Set within Belvedere's 160 acres of Parkland with its 6km of woodland and lakeshore walks is The Gothic Arch, The Gazebo and Ireland’s largest folly, The Jealous Wall.
